HISTORY
During fermentation, young beer forms many small foam bubbles, in the brewer’s language called “Kräusen.” When the brewer adds small amounts of this beer to an already matured beer, the process is called “aufkräusen.” For Graser Kräusen, we add a small amount of young Franconian Pils to matured Felsenkellerbier, thereby complementing the full-bodied flavor of the aged beer with the liveliness and fruity hop notes of the young beer. A wonderfully fresh treat!
Where can I buy Graser beers?
All Graser beers are available fresh on tap at the Wirtshaus Graser in Bamberg’s mill district neighborhood. And they are available in bottles, too, both locally in Bamberg and at select specialty stores and international partners. You an also find it in our Online Shop.
